Precision pancake pen, makes great shapes!

Every Sunday we love to make pancakes in the shapes of the kids favorite characters, or the letters of their name.  In Williams Sonoma I found this pancake batter pen dispenser that is fabulous!  (They sell it at Amazon and Target as well.)

It is made by, “Tovolo”, and is dishwasher safe on the top rack, and what is great, is that whatever you don’t use, you can just put the dispenser in the refrigerator.

How to make up in under 5 minutes each morning, it CAN be done!

It is just 5 items, Almay I Intense i-color pencil (they pair up colors depending on your eye color), Almay I Intense eye shadow pallet, or Chanel liquid shimmer eyeshadow,  Almay IIntense Mascara, and either Burt’s Bees Shimmer stick or Chapstick Shimmer, or a lip gloss of your choice, & Garnier Skin Renew Anti-Dark-Circle  Roller (my friend reccommeded, great product!)

I first apply the eye concelor, then a light shadow, followed by eyeliner, mascara, and follow it with a quick shimmer stick and viola, ready to go!

Whether at a light, or right before we leave for the day, it is quick, easy, and looks natural where you feel alive + a cup of coffee, lol!

Fun fruit snack for the picky eater…

A few years ago in Costco I found this company, “Brothers-All-Natural”, who makes freeze-dried fruit snacks.  There are no preservatives, no sugar added, are dairy free, are Vegan, Gluten, Soy free, and more importantly are made in a tree nut and peanut free facility!

Each bag serving is 45 calories, and is equivalent to 1 1/2 pieces of fruit.  They come in peach, apple, pear, strawberry, pineapple, banana/strawberry, and can be found at Stop & Shop (10 for $10), or Costco and Babies R Us have them as well.

One fun sandwich is either peanut butter or cream cheese with the strawberries… it is delicious!

Go food shopping and keep the kids busy…. What?

A friend of mine introduced me to this great product called, “Boddler Bites”, which are picture flashcards for toddler and young kids, to keep children busy while food shopping.

They were featured in Rachel Ray’s Magazine, and worth looking at.

Go to www.boddlerbites.com to preview them, and the many uses for them.

I think this is a great way to keep your child engaged, and a great way to maybe finish your list too! LOL!

Fashionable bike helmets for kids, too cute!

On my weekly trip to “Target”, I stumbled upon the most adorable bike helmets called, “Raskullz”.  They look like a regular helmet, however are 3-dimensional.  They have a bunny, a shark, a cat and many other styles, which are so unique compared to any bicycle helmet I have ever seen.

What I liked is that most children do not want to wear a helmet, and this is a great way for them to want to wear one.  (I love the styles, as well as the price is great, under $25.)

This will definitely be a Hot item this summer, for the price point is reasonable, and the designs make wearing a helmet cool!

I would either take your child to pick one out, or maybe the Easter Bunny will leave one Easter morning! Lol!

Great clothing lables for kids!

Now that Spring is in the air, and Summer is around the corner, it is time to label your child’s coats, clothing, cups, etc.

I found this company called, “Mabel’s Labels” that has a great variety, and has great tags as well.  They are dishwasher and laundry-safe too!

(Also they have a $5 set for party favors which is a great idea I think!)

Go to www.mabelslabels.com or call 1-866-306-2235 to check them out!

Best low calorie snack ever!

A good friend of mine got me these amazing low calorie wheat and rice snack called, “Kim’s Magic Pop” from Fairway market.  I found them at The Garden on Eden in Jersey City, as well as the A & P has a different brand I am told (but are smaller in size).  These are the size of a large pita and taste like a rice crispy, and they are only 15 calories for each one!  If you had 6 they would be under 100 calories!  Check them out!

My kids love them plain, with cream cheese, or peanut butter, and I put humus on them which was delicious!

Go to www.kimsmagicpop.com, for they can be ordered online too.

Best stain remover ever!

While on vacation my son had a bright ice cream which left a tie dye effect to his new white Polo shirt!  I nearly died, and my husbands aunt put, “Dawn” dishwashing soap all over it, rubed it in, and let it sit over night.  I was at first reluctant, but after she washed it in warm, it looked brand new!

Highly recommend and it is less expensive than Oxi clean!

Check it out!
