Petite Parade’s Children’s Fashion Week Wow Factor!


Fashion is my passion, and Petite Parade is one of the many highlites that showcase children’s fashion in New York!

This fall, Spring Studios was taken over by many fabulous designers, photographers, models & fun activities for all minis!

Parsons School of Fashion spotlighted top students unique fashion for Spring whose talents were prevelant on the runway!  Look out… for I predict these talented students will have a great future in the children’s industry!

From head to toe, Little Miss Matched paired solids with fun prints and graphic designs to every look!  From accessories to footwear, fun and trendy outfits are sure to please!

Marin + Morgan’s flow of soft pastel colors glided down the runway with ruffle accents, & fab prints for Spring 2015!  I discovered this dynamic duo a year ago, & adore their line!

Olvis Lace and floral dresses took elegance a step further. Their french lace dresses and gowns put the P in the princess!

Laer’s leather take down took eveyones breath away! Buttery leather jackets, bombers, vests of pastels, meatalics and rockstar black are, “Wow Factor” worthy!

All hand sewn, made in LA, this line is a must for your little fashionista!

New Balance kicks adorned the feet of some of the models in the show. Featuring meatalics, two toned patterns, solids and more! ~Loving this classic line for the entire family!

Jessica Simpson’s line of bohemian bliss for girls ended the show with a feel for Spring! From florals, fringe to boho chic, her designs are sure to please!

DJ Alden & the Waffle Subway Dancers ended the show with a fab dance party sponsored by New Balance.

Every chair was empty, while the entire studio transformed into smiles, giggles bopping to hip & trendy tunes!

No one showcases children’s fashion in NYC non other than Petite Parade, taking childrens fashion to another level each year!

Day 2 from Petite Parade 2014!


From sparkle to faux fur, to denim Ruum children’s line opened the day with a, “Wow Factor”!

Fun and trendy clothing & accessories for girls and boys gave off a fun vibe to the crowd!

Next Clark’s sandals and shoes for Spring were the center of attention!

Bright colors, leather, laces, patent leather to sparkles, this line is sure to make a statement!

Dillonger Clothing brought the house down for boys clothing!

Loved the versatile trendy, and hip designs which boys will sure seek! Sleeveless to cropped hoodies and joggers this line is a must for Spring!

Fruits, veggies, snacks and florals were the inspiration for Aria’s collection for Spring. Her fun line for girls has an Asian influence on each piece, which has a youthful vibe!

Charm’s line of shades of grey, melon and white, for girls and boys wowed the crowd with every piece that walked down the runway!

No one closes a show other than the one and only Bonnie Young!

Patent leather, floral prints and solids are what’s hot for Spring for this fab line!

From cropped jackets, straight hem lines, to pinch pleats, zippers and floral accents, Bonnie Young does it yet again!

The energy and unique design if each masterpiece she creates for girls and boys is truly a work if art! ~Love them all!

As the finale of models circled and left, camera flashes ended and the DJ played the last song, you couldn’t help leaving the show ready for Spring!

No one showcases children’s fashion other than Petite Parade!

Children’s Fashion Week was held in New York City last month at Bath House Studios for two days.

Day 1 opened with iconic Chloe of delicate fabric blouses, dresses, tops & bottoms gliding down the runway.

Next Alivia Simone wowed the crowd with their vivid florals and bold prints! From dresses, shorts and pants adorned with Swarovski Crystal accents, every piece outdid the rest!

Move over Project Runway, for Parsons The New School for Design students have taken design to a different level!

The top students showcased their designs for Spring which was fantastic!

Their pieces have an 80’s vibe with a contemporary and retro feel for boys & girls. From solids to neon colors, unique stitching and use of fabric, these future designers will have fabulous lines I predict!

Next Imoga’s trendy florals and solids rocked the runway! Mix and matching solids and florals, and adding fun accessories of bubble necklaces and large bags, Imoga covered it all!

Oil & Water’s raincoats took the runway by storm! From pastels to matte metallics and floral lining, these Audrey Hepburn inspired coats put the S in sunshine!

Made with impeccable fabric and stitching, Oil & Water’s coats are unlike any raincoat you have ever seen!

The finale included Anasai’s couture shoes for girls and boys. Leather solids, jeweled or with a bit of sparkle, every pair was truly eye catching!

Petite Parade goes above and beyond each year showcasing the most amazing designers and fashion in the children’s wear industry!

Last weekend petite PARADE and VOGUE Bambini showcased petite PARADE Kid’s Fashion Week in NYC which was spectacular!

Dynamic duo, Tristin & Tyler were the MC’s for the show wearing trendy looks for this season.

petite PARADE’s show opened up with Amber Sabathia’s line CCandy Collection that screamed, “eye catching”!

From MLB Yankees logo tees from Outer Stuff Ltd. hoodies, sweats & jumpsuits, each logo popped out on the runway.

“Since August the line has caught on and is buzzing. CCandy offers a full line from infant to teen XL. My inspiration for this line is hyper colors, where I have taken the basic Yankees logo and hyped it.”, Amber stated.

Next IMOGA’s little divas walked the runway with fun faux fur sweaters pattern leggings, dresses in florals, lemon yellow, navy & pink combinations. Her day and night fall collection for girls is truly unique!

Mother daughter duo, designers of Alivia Simone luxury line took the runway by storm! With exquisite silk, faux leather combinations and savory satin with gold thread fabric, each look was so savvy and tres’ chic!

Mischka Aoki dresses took everyones breath away with layers of luxurious fabric, fur and Swarovski crystals. Her fashion is of a different level, truly couture!

The show closed with another of my favorites, Bonnie Young! It’s all about plaids and metallics for fall! Colors of ivory and mushroom with show stopping designs were adored by all!

The nibbles from Press Tea were delish, as well as the fresh juice from Green Mustache, applesauce by Go Squeeze and my fave cupcakes Baked by Melissa of course were devoured!

Milk Pop Shop had creative activities for the minis with Alex Brand materials with proceeds going to the New York Foundling.

Swag bags filled with fun items for the kiddies from CCandy Clothing & Outer Stuff Ltd., Babesta, Alex Toys, & LittleBU were adored by all the minis at the show!

Speaking of minis, Toddlewood was too cute for words with their Oscar inspired looks in the audience.

Thanks to petite PARADE and VOGUE Bambini for putting children’s fashion on map!

Tristen & Tyler were amazing MC’s of the event, as well as DJ Kai Song, who rocked the turntables with fab music!

Afterwards an amazing group of designers like Andy & Evan, Amelie Ginevra, SnoPea, Sweet Lola, Stella & Cove, Oil & Water, Suoak, & Floatimini took the runway by storm!

From raincoats, to swimwear, & adorable causal wear, this showcase was a hit!

The grand finale was a showcase by Stride Rite, featuring shoes, sneakers, boots & sandals by Sperry, Topsider, Keds & Stride Rite.

From fun colors, to sparkle & shine, what girl or boy wouldn’t want a few pairs right?

Healthy snacks provided by my fave, petit Organics creator, Michelle Marinis were a hit with the kiddies!

From Organic apples, to Pirate Booty, applesauce pouches, coconut & bottles water, they were loved by all!

Baked by Melissa displayed her fab, one bite assortment of cupcakes which were devoured!

Milk Pop Shop created a fab Arts & Crafts table of wearable art for kids, with T-shirts, sneakers, plush toys & more for Free Arts NYC!

Thanks to the AMAZING staff from the petite Parade, especially Bryan Arenas, for creating an amazing experience for Children’s Fashion Week!

What a day! Part I

The first show was the JC Penny showcase, with fashions from Ted Baker, Flowers by Zoe, Giggle Baby, tg Total Girl, Joe Fresh, Sally M Sally Miller, & Disney.

Each designer had fab styes for all! From preppy, to glam, sporty, & fun, each look was a sure hit!

Next Bonnie Young took us to her world this season with a sporty look of stars & camouflage.

Her signature designs in a sporty them in colors of white, black & white, & jade will be a hit for all!

Lamantine Paris took us into a world of chic Parisian looks for girls.

With delicate fabric, cut ever so gentle, each look was dreamy & exquisite!

Colors of neutral & earth tones were the focus for this season.

Next Pale Cloud took in the runway with designs in hues of grey, yellow & natural tones.

Each look was more amazing, from shorts, to skirts, & dresses of the most delicate fabric, & so tres’ chic!
